Will the Real Adam and Eve Please Stand Up?

  1. Really good read Grant.

I especially like the idea of fruit in the in the gardent suggesting that procreation existed, but wasn’t understood. The awakening of adolescence.

The idea of A&E as the principles not necessarily the first… The first to arrive at a sufficiently cognitive state to understand and give worship to a God.

  2. Interesting thoughts and ideas. I loved them.
There is a lot we don’t know about Adam and Eve and the Fall. Science and religion seem to be on different trains of thought regarding the history and man and the Universe/Earth etc. A lot of information presented in religion is figurative and not literal and in my opinion, by design. The LDS church teaches openly that all men and women born into this world are descendants of Adam and Eve and in order to procreate, the Fall needed to happen. As far as the animals and plants, they may very well have been transplanted from another world. The volume of species we have so far discovered is outstanding and there are probably many more undiscovered ones. In my ignorance, I don’t dwell too much on things I don’t know the whole story about, or try to make my case with the available information. I would probably end up putting my foot in my mouth. However, lots of fun musing about the plan of Heaven and one day we will be able to know all.
